Why OKRs at sophilabs?

Knowing the company’s core purpose, choosing to pursue it, getting on track, and choosing what to collaborate on and how the company’s going to help you improve. That’s how OKRs work.

After learning about the main goals, which make up the motor of the company, it’s time to make an analysis and set personal goals for each quarter. Then it’s time to decide which Key Results I’ll use to achieve those goals. Once approved by my Dev. Manager (or routemate), it’s then time to make a plan in order to reach those goals.

It’s a simple yet challenging proposal, that gets us involved and pushes us to be better.

Why did we choose to implement OKRs?

At Sophilabs, we believe in growth from the inside out. By strengthening each person, we strengthen the whole team. The best teams (with fun, creative, and involved people) are able to achieve excellent quality and, even better, feel proud of their work.

We live in a world of constant changes, and it’s crucial that we pay attention to what’s coming. Sophilabbers enjoy investigating, innovating, continually learning, and having a good time.

We choose OKRs because it takes all of us to make the best possible place to work.
