The community of tastemakers and educated consumers who found the platform where to give their opinions of products and experiences
“Their responsiveness made our project a success for all parties.”

Influenster is a community of tastemakers, social media hotshots, and educated consumers who give opinions of products and experiences.
The "Social Impact" is quantified by tracking the number of friends, followers, or subscribers a user has. Products are sent to be tasted ("VoxBoxes") and brands are benefited thanks to the reviews and promotion generated.
Implementing a thoroughly defined user interaction and scaling to millions of users were the main challenges.
Influenster was very clear from the beginning that they needed a senior development team to help them take the company to the next level.
We had to understand their concerns and true needs, step out, think big and propose solutions to different problems; not just related to software design, but to improve the development and release process.
Using agile methodologies we worked together on polishing the main areas of the site. Thanks to a well designed code we were able to iterate and improve without affecting the critical features.
We strived to keep a high test coverage and elegant code through the integration of linters and checkers on the continuous integration server.
We have built the system on top of several components such as a restful API's, a surveys system and social networks managers among others.
One of the main Influenster's concerns was to build a responsive layout that supported both desktop and mobile devices.
In addition, we needed a robust and highly performant Data Store to track the activity of millions of users on different social networks. We integrated several platforms such as
The global forecasting and macroeconomic analysis tool that helps economists around the world predict the future.
